2. Rug shampoo

Rug shampoo is a specific product that is used to clean buildup of dirt and bacteria on the rug. When using the shampoo, it is recommended to use a soft bristle brush or sponge and to work the shampoo into a lather on the rug while allowing it to sit for 5 minutes before rinsing. It is important to let it sit, otherwise the shampoo won’t set in and you won’t be able to start lifting the dirt away. 

3. Stain remover

Stain removers help remove stains in your rug, you should look for a stain remover that doesn’t contain any harmful or corrosive chemicals.
